Aetnas Open Choice PPO Plan is our provider for nationwide coverage. Within Aetna, associates have the option of a 80/20 coinsurance plan or a 90/10 coninsurance plan. In addition to our PPO plan, we offer Aetna HMO for associates near our Hagerstown, Maryland facility. Associates may elect to cover themselves and family members. Dental Insurance is automatically provided to associates that enroll in one of the medical plans. The plan covers routine care, major restorative care, and orthodontia.
Flexible Spending Accounts
Associates may contribute up to $5,000 of their earnings pre-tax to an optional Health Care Flexible Spending Account and $5,000 of their earnings pre-tax to an optional Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account.
A vision wellness program that offers periodic eye exams and prescription eyewear at a reduced price.
Rust-Oleum provides company-paid term life insurance of 2 times your pay. Associates may also purchase additional term life insurance coverage up to 3 times pay for a total coverage of 5 times pay.
Accidental Death and Dismemberment
Rust-Oleum provides company paid AD&D benefit equal to 2 times pay or a scheduled amount for loss of limbs. Associates may purchase additional AD&D coverage up to 3 times pay for a total of 5 times pay.
Business Travel Insurance
Rust-Oleum provides company-paid death benefits, if death is a result of an accident while traveling on company business, up to 5 times pay.
Rust-Oleum provides short-term disability pay to all associates recovering from injuries or short-term illnesses. If you have less than one year of service, there is a reduction in your benefit. After 6 months of short term disability, associates are eligible to apply for company-paid Long Term Disability benefits.
Rust-Oleum will reimburse associates for 100% of their tuition upon receiving a "C" or better on approved course(s) at an accredited institution. Limits apply.
Employee Assistance Program
Rust-Oleum provides an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) that is a prepaid counseling service offered to all associates. The EAP provides associates and their families with counseling on personal concerns such as stress, family, substance abuse and other life issues.
Rust-Oleum encourages associates to volunteer at a non-profit charitable organization of their choice by offering one paid Volunteer Day off per year.
401(k) Savings Plan
Rust-Oleum offers a 401(k) savings plan to associates over 21 years of age and with 6 months of service. Associates can contribute up to 20% of their pay into this pre-tax savings account. Our parent company, RPM, matches 100% on the first 3 percent contributed, and 50% on the 4th and 5th percent contributed, for a total of 4% match on the first 5% contributed.
RPM Pension Plan
Rust-Oleum offers a defined benefit plan based on years of service and average final annual pay. Associates are vested in the pension benefit after five years of service.
RPM Stock Plan
Associates may purchase RPM stock through payroll deduction. Miminum purchase is $10.00 per pay period.
A $2000 benefit is available to associates who adopt a child.
