Teak Bathroom Floor Mat After
  1. Cut wood into (8) 30” pieces (top slats) and (3) 20” pieces (bottom slats) with a mitre saw.
  2. Sand all pieces, and ease edges with progressive sandpaper grits (120/180/220).
  3. Set (2) 30” pieces on a flat surface, then place (2) 20” bottom slats on top to create a squarely positioned 30” x 20” wood frame. Keep edges of each piece flush on the ends, and clamp into place.
  4. Pre-drill holes 3/4” deep, 2 for each slat's point of attachment, and secure with square drive screws.
  5. Center and attach the remaining 20” piece to the frame.
  6. Evenly space the remaining (6) 30” slats approximately 1/4" apart, and attach with screws from the bottom.
  7. Apply two coats of Watco Teak Oil Finish with a rag or paintbrush, and allow it to dry for 24 hours prior to use.
