After
After
  1. First, remove all doors, drawers, handles and hardware.
  2. Wipe all surfaces with a clean rag saturated with Rust-Oleum® Mineral Spirits to remove any surface contamination. You may need to do this twice if there is a heavy build up of dirt, grease or grime. Change rags frequently to avoid depositing dirt and grease back ont
  3. Wash the surface with equal parts of household ammonia and water and rinse well with clean water. Allow the clean surface to dry completely
  4. Prime the clean, dry surfaces with Zinsser® B-I-N® Shellac-Base Primer. Let the primer dry for about an hour.
  5. Next, apply two coats of paint such as Rust-Oleum® Painter's® Touch Ultra Cover Multi-Purpose Satin Brush-On in your color choice. Hint: If you tint the primer toward the color of your finish paint, you can eliminate the second finish coat.
  6. Enjoy the fresh new look you have created for your kitchen cabinets.
