    What special preparation is required?

    Remove dirt and debris from area to be treated. Items to be treated should be clean and dry. Cover and mask off areas to avoid overspray if necessary.

    How long will Rust-Oleum NeverWet Boot & Shoe treatment last?

    As with other waterproofers, NeverWet is a temporary treatment. Environmental conditions will affect the longevity of the Rust-Oleum NeverWet Boot & Shoe treatment. Continual exposure and abrasion are the leading cause of reduction in the treatment’s life. NeverWet Boot & Shoe can be reapplied as repellency begins to decrease.

    Can Rust-Oleum NeverWet Boot & Shoe be reapplied?

    If the superhydrophobic properties are diminished, Rust-Oleum NeverWet Boot & Shoe can easily and quickly be reapplied.

    How many square feet will a bottle of Rust-Oleum NeverWet Boot & Shoe cover?

    The square footage will be dependent on the type of fabric. One trigger bottle will cover approximately 60 square feet on smooth, light fabrics to 20 – 25 square feet on textured/heavy fabrics. That translates to approximately 10 pairs of shoes.

    Does Rust-Oleum NeverWet Boot & Shoe have a scent?

    Following the initial application of NeverWet, there is a very faint smell which is common in most waterproofing products. This scent will dissipate within days after application.
