Rust-Oleum HOME will adhere to any non-silicone, paintable caulk, such as DAP Kwik Dry. However, it's recommended that you apply Rust-Oleum HOME prior to any caulking. If silicone caulk is present , we suggest removing it before painting.  Any generic caulk brand can be applied AFTER floor is coated with Rust-Oleum HOME.

No.  Wax needs to be removed before applying coating.

Fully cured floor can be cleaned with mild soap and water or a general purpose cleaner, such as Krud Kutter Cleaner Degreaser, after 7 days.  Do not use an abrasive cleaner.

Rust-Oleum HOME is recommended for horizontal surfaces, but can be used on vertical surfaces too. We recommend the Rust-Oleum HOME Top Coat be brush applied in that case with a good quality synthetic brush, or if roller applied, use two thin coats.

All flooring should be tested for adhesion before coating the entire floor. Clean a small 3”x3”, inconspicuous area, let dry. Apply base coat over area and allow to dry for 12 hours. Take a utility knife and make an X in the coating down to the flooring. Apply a 4” piece of duct tape over the X and press firmly. Remove the tape with one quick pull. If more than 10% of the coating comes off, the floor will need to be sanded with 60-80 grit sand paper before coating the entire floor.
