Varathane Weathered Wood Accelerator and some stenciled lettering with Testors Craft acrylic paints make this sign an easy DIY project. Hang it just outside your three-seasons room and let people know where to hear the jazz music.

Step 1: Draw the shape of the sign and cut it out of the wood. Use spare wood to make arrowed edges.

Step 2:
After cutting, use a propane torch to carefully and lightly burn the wood to give it a feathered look.

Step 3: Apply Varathane Weathered Wood accelerator. Brush on a liberal coat with a foam brush. One coat is sufficient. Let the accelerator dry for approximately 1 hour.

Step 4: Use your finger inside a lint-free cloth to wipe the wood with sporadic strokes using the Testors Vanilla and Gold paints.

Step 5: Adhere your stencil to the wood with stencil adhesive. Use a small paint brush to stencil “Jazz Lounge" on the wood with Testors Craft paint in black.

Step 6: Let the Testors Craft paint dry for approximately 1 hour.

Step 7: Attach the arrow portion to the wood plank and hang in your favorite spot.
