Whether you find it in your attic or at a flea market, this metal plant stand gets a vibrant new look with a couple coats of Rust-Oleum's Stops Rust Rich Jade spray paint. Stops Rust protects as it beautifies, so you'll have a long-lasting piece on your deck or patio.

Step 1: Shake can of Rusty Metal Primer for one minute after the mixing ball begins to rattle. Spray primer in slow, back-and-forth motions, overlapping each stroke slightly for even coverage. Let dry for approximately 1 hour or 48 hours.

Step 2: Shake can of Gloss Jade Protective Enamel spray paint for one minute after the mixing ball begins to rattle. Spray paint in slow, back-and-forth motions, overlapping each stroke slightly for even coverage. Apply a second coat of paint immediately, if needed.

Step 3: Let your plant stand dry for a full 48 hours before use outdoors. Add your favorite plant and enjoy your creation!

TIP: Applying 2-3 coats offers maximum coverage and protection.
