Metallic spray paint lets you easily give your outdated entryway a more modern look. We spray painted a light fixture and a picture frame to give this foyer a cohesive look.

Make sure each item you plan to paint is clean and dry. Use painter's tape to cover any area you don't want to paint. Place each item on a drop cloth.

Shake your can of Rust-Oleum Metallic Spray Paint (we used Carbon Mist) vigorously for one minute after the mixing ball begins to rattle. Slide the red safety clip off the trigger. Spray paint each item a steady, back-and forth motion, slightly overlapping each stroke. Keep the paint can the same distance from the surface and in motion while spraying. For best results, apply several light coats a few minutes apart rather than one heavy coat.

Allow the spray paint to dry thoroughly for approximately 1 hour before handling and 24 hours before full use.
