Prepare: Always work in a well ventilated area and cover your surroundings with a drop cloth. Cut fence posts to different desired heights. Optional: Attach a stake to the bottom of fence posts for easier ground application. Wipe down your wood pieces with a microfiber cloth to remove dirt and dust.
Stain: Now, it’s time to stain. Before beginning, thoroughly stir or shake your can of Varathane Premium Fast Dry Wood Stain in Antique White. Dip your lint-free cloth or brush into the stain and, working in small sections, apply a generous amount of stain to the wooden planks in the direction of the wood grain. Let the stain sit for a few minutes (more time = deeper color), and then wipe away the excess with a clean, lint-free cloth. Once all of your planks are completely stained, set them aside to dry for one hour.
Paint: To paint your Ghost, Spray 2 or more coats of Glow in the Dark spray onto its surface with the same technique you used while priming. Let everything dry completely for 24 hours. After paint has dried, use black marker to complete face details.
Finish:
To charge the glow in the dark paint, set the Ghosts under direct light for several hours. The paint will charge under sunlight or artificial light, like a lamp.
