Give ordinary outdoor lanterns a new appearance with Rust-Oleum's Stops Rust Textured Metallic Spray Paint. 

PREPARE: Remove loose paint from the lanterns with a wire brush or sandpaper. Lightly sand the surface you want to paint so the paint adheres. Clean and thoroughly dry the surface of your item. Once completely dry, use painter’s tape to protect the glass panels from the paint. Choose a well-ventilated space to paint your lanterns and cover surroundings areas with a drop cloth.

APPLY: Shake your spray paint can vigorously for approximately 1 minute after the mixing ball begins to rattle. Hold the can 10-16" from surface and apply the Rust-Oleum Stops Rust Textured Metallic Spray Paint in slow, sweeping motions, slightly overlapping each stroke. Apply two or more coats a few minutes apart.

FINISH: Remove the painter’s tape from glass. The spray paint will be dry to the touch in 30 minutes, to handle in 1-2 hours, and fully dry in 24 hours.
