Island-Themed Patio Furniture

Bring some tropical flair to your metal patio furniture with Rust-Oleum Stops Rust Spray Paint. You'll get a long-lasting, durable paint finish that resists rust.

  1. Use a wire brush to remove any loose paint from your metal patio furniture. Make sure the metal is thoroughly clean and dry before painting.
  2. Apply Rust-Oleum Universal Bonding Primer to the metal furniture using slow, even strokes. Slightly overlap each stroke for the best coverage. Let the paint primer dry for 30 minutes.
  3. Apply Rust-Oleum Stops Rust Protective Enamel Spray Paint (we used Island Coral), following the directions on the can. Let the spray paint dry for 2-4 hours before handling and 24 hours before full use.

TIP: For even more protection, topcoat the painted surfaces with Rust-Oleum Stops Rust Protective Enamel in Crystal Clear.
