Ultimate Water-Based Polyurethane

Varathane® Ultimate Water-Based Polyurethane is designed to provide excellent scratch and stain protection for your interior wood projects. Its crystal-clear finish allows the beauty of wood to shine through. Varathane Ultimate Water-Based Polyurethane is a low-odor formula and cleans up easily with soap and water. It is ideal for interior projects such as stained, bare or painted wood surfaces, including furniture, doors, window frames, cabinets and trim. It is not recommended for linoleum, vinyl or glazed tiles and metal.

For Best Results

• For best adhesion, surfaces must be clean, dry and free of old finishes, dust, dirt, oils and other foreign matter. 
• To prevent bubbles in the finish, do not shake the can of brush-on polyurethane. Stir thoroughly before and during use. Polyurethane spray can should be shaken as instructed on the product label.  
• Apply 3 coats of brush-on polyurethane for maximum protection.  Apply 4 coats of the polyurethane spray.
