Blue Spray Painted Tree Branch Centerpiece with Decorative Bird and Nest

You can make this creative spring centerpiece for next to nothing. Here’s how to do it in three easy steps.

  1. PREPARE: Always work in a well-ventilated area and cover your surroundings with a drop cloth to protect them from overspray. Find a sturdy tree branch that’s the right size for your table and sits well on its side.
  2. PAINT: Shake your can of Ultra Cover 2x Gloss spray paint in Gloss Seaside for about one minute after the mixing ball starts to rattle. Hold the can 10-16” away from the branch, and spray in sweeping motion. Spray 2-3 light, even coats onto the branch, allowing a few minutes in between each. Let the branch dry completely for 24 hours.
  3. FINISH: Once the branch is dry, use your extra-strength glue to attach the bird and bird’s nest to the branch. Display your branch on a table, paired with a decorative mason jar and fresh flowers.
