Add character to your kitchen set with Stops Rust’s gorgeous new color, Satin Classic Navy. This navy hue is the perfect way to add a subtle touch of color to traditionally neutral pieces—like your kitchen chairs. Here’s how to get this look in a few steps.
- PREPARE: Setup your workspace in a well-ventilated area and use a drop cloth to protect from overspray. Wipe the chairs down with a tack cloth to remove any dirt or dust. Then, use painter’s tape and masking paper to mask off any parts of the chairs that you don’t want to paint.
- PRIME: Shake your can of Stops Rust Universal Bonding Primer for one minute after the mixing ball starts to rattle. Then, hold the can 10-16” away from the chair and spray in a steady sweeping motion. Spray a few light coats. Then, repeat on the other chairs.
- PAINT: Shake your can of Stops Rust Satin Enamel spray paint in Classic Navy for one minute after the mixing ball starts to rattle. Then, hold the can 10-16” away from the surface and spray in a steady sweeping motion over the chair. Spray 2-3 light coats, allowing a few minutes in between each. Then, repeat this step on the other chairs.
- FINISH: Let the chairs dry completely for 24 hours before using.
