Home Command Center

Before

A few simple items, a beautiful color and voila! You've got a cohesive home command center where you can organize your mail, keys and schedule. Adding a new paint color isn't just a transformation. It's a statement.

  1. Choose a well-ventilated area. Cover the floor with a drop cloth to protect it from any overspray and apply painter's tape to areas you don't want to paint.
  2. Next, shake the can of Rust-Oleum Painter’s Touch 2X Ultra Cover spray paint (we used Spring Green) for one minute after the mixing ball begins to rattle.
  3. Then, hold the can about 8-12” away from the item and apply spray paint in a steady, back-and-forth motion. You'll want to add 2-3 light coats, waiting a few minutes between each coat. This will ensure a more even finish.
  4. Last, remove painter's tape after 20 minutes and let everything dry completely for about an hour.
  5. Hang your items on a kitchen wall to create a great space for all of your daily activities.
