With just a little epoxy resin and creativity, you can make a one-of-a-kind mosaic serving tray.

To begin, make sure the surface of your tray is level and dry. Then arrange your mosaic tiles on the tray in the pattern you want to preserve. Before covering with Super Glaze epoxy resin, cover the around the tray with wax paper, newspaper or a drop cloth. Protect the outer sides of the tray with several layers of masking tape or painter's tape.

Before preparing the epoxy resin for use, read all of the instructions including in the Super Glaze kit. To create your epoxy, pour equal amounts of Super Glaze resin (Part A) and activator (Part B) into separate, disposable mixing containers. Carefully pour the measured resin (Part A) into the container with measured activator (Part B). Mix thoroughly and gently with a stir stick for a minimum of 3 minutes (no more than 5 minutes). Pour the mixed resin and activator into a clean container. Mix slowly and thoroughly with a stir stick for an additional 3 minutes to help prevent air bubbles from entering the mixture.

Super Glaze will begin to cure as soon as it is mixed. Pour the epoxy resin onto the serving tray immediately after mixing. To remove surface bubbles, blow on the surface. If larger bubbles are present, draw them out with a hair dryer or heat gun. Surface bubbles MUST be removed when the surface is still wet. Pour the epoxy resin into center of the tray, and then use a plastic spreader or rubber squeegee to gently spread it in a single direction over the entire surface. Stop spreading the resin once it starts to harden; otherwise it will not self-level during the curing process.

Super Glaze will cured to gentle touch in 4 to 5 hours. The surface will be fully cured and ready for use after 72 hours.
