Rev up your vehicle with custom rims, striping or interior details with Premium Custom Lacquers. In this simple project, you can add your favorite colors to your existing vehicle for a personalized look. 

  1. Wash your car with soap and water and a soft sponge. Dry thoroughly.

  2. Lightly sand any glossy surfaces to create a lightly scuffed surface.

  3. Tape off your design.

  4. Protect and mask off all surrounding areas to prevent overspray.

  5. Lightly sand glossy surfaces.

  6. Shake the paint can vigorously for 1 minute after the mixing ball rattles. 

  7. Apply spray paint about 10-16" away from the surface in several light coats, in steady back-and-forth motions, slightly overlapping each coat.

  8. Apply 2 or more coats, allowing each coat to dry in between.

  9. Remove tape and masking after the final coat of paint to get clean edges.

  10. Wait 24 hours before buffing or sanding.
