Spray paint your way to a patio set that looks brand new! Give your wood patio set a fresh, glossy look with Universal spray paint. This easy DIY project can be done fast, just in time for guests to arrive for dinner.

Make sure your patio furniture is clean and dry and sand off any existing loose paint. Wipe the furniture with a lint-free cloth to remove any remaining dust or dirt.

Over a drop cloth, shake can vigorously for one minute after the mixing ball begins to rattle. Slide off the red safety clip from the trigger. Start spraying in a steady back-and forth motion, slightly overlapping each stroke. Keep the can the same distance from the surface and in motion while spraying. Apply two or more light coats a few minutes apart.

For best results, apply several light coats versus one heavy coat. Allow the paint to dry thoroughly for approximately 1 hour before handling the pieces.
