If you are looking for a quick and simple way to alter the look of your kitchen, spray paint your cabinet hardware! Rust-Oleum Spray Paints come in the latest finishes and colors.

Don't spend a fortune, just spray paint it!

Before you begin, make sure all hardware is removed from the cabinetry and placed on a drop cloth. Cover your surrounding area with Kraft paper, plastic or a drop cloth.

  1. Shake the spray can vigorously for one minute after the mixing ball begins to rattle.
  2. Once you're ready, hold the spray paint can upright 8-12” from surface of your item and apply it in a steady back-and forth motion, slightly overlapping each stroke. Keep the can the same distance from the surface and in motion while in use.
  3. Apply two or more light coats a few minutes apart for best results.
  4. The paint will be dry to touch in 30 minutes, to handle in 1 hour, and is fully dry in 24 hours. Recoat within 1 hour or after 48 hours.
  5. Once the paint has fully dried, reattach it to your cabinetry.

TIP: For best results, apply multiple light coats versus one heavy coat.
