  1. Find a spot outdoors and cover nearby items with drop cloths to protect them from spray mist.
  2. Clean the inside and outside of the glass, using glass cleaner and a lint free cloth.
  3. Tape the outside edges of the object and anywhere on the inside that you do not want painted. You can also cover the outside of the vase/jar with paper. Secure with painter’s tape to prevent overspray.
  4. Hold the Rust-Oleum® Specialty Mirror Effect can 10-12” from the surface. Press the spray button and begin covering the reverse side of the glass in a steady back-and-forth motion, slightly overlapping each stroke.
  5. Apply 3 or more light coats at a moderate speed. For best results, apply multiple light coats versus one heavy coat.
  6. Let dry for 1 hour before displaying your work of art.
