    • Varathane Wood Stain
    • Old Sheets or Drop Cloth
    • Sandpaper
    • Paper towels
    • 3/4"-Thick Plywood
    • Jig Saw
    • Scissors
    • Paper
    • Printer
    • Pencil
Georgia, Tennesse, and Flordia states cut out in wood After

  1. Print state outline on a piece of paper (recommend at least 9" width).
  2. Cut out state with scissors.
  3. Lay outline on plywood and trace with pencil.
  4. Cut out the plywood shape with a jigsaw.
  5. Sand the front and the sides of the state plaque. Remove dust.
  6. Spread out the drop cloth or old sheet and lay the state plaque on it.
  7. Using the paper towel, apply the stain in the direction of the grain. Remove excess stain and let dry.
  8. Affix the sawtooth hanger on the back in the center of the plaque. Hang on a nail.
  9. Enjoy!
