  • Tools & Supplies:

    • Old Sheets or Drop Cloth
    • 5 Pieces of 2" x 6" Lumber Cut to 5 1/2" (each will be a square)
    • Tack Cloth
    • Sandpaper
    • Drill Bits (3/4" and 5/8")
    • Drill
    • 5/8" Dowel (cut to 6 3/4" tall)
    • Wood Glue

  1. Mark and drill 3/4" holes in the center of four wood pieces. Drill additional holes as desired.  
  2. Mark and drill 5/8" hole in the center of the fifth wood piece. (Do not drill all the way through. This is the base of the toy.) 
  3. Sand all wood pieces and inside each hole. Use tack cloth to remove dust. 
  4. Add a small amount of glue to the inside hole of the base. Insert dowel.
  5. Spread out the old sheet or drop cloth, and place the base and wood pieces on it.
  6. Spray each piece a different color.
  7. Wait 24 hours for paint to dry completely. 
  8. Give to a child who enjoys stacking!
