Metallics denote warmth and wealth. Why not add a little to your living space on a set of bookends? Buy some at a thrift store, or use what you already own and brighten them with Rust-Oleum Universal Metallic Spray Paint

Choose a well-ventilated area to work in. Cover the floor and surrounding area with a drop cloth, Kraft paper or plastic tarp.

Shake your can of Rust-Oleum Universal Spray Paint (we used Metallic Satin Bronze) vigorously for one minute after the mixing ball begins to rattle. Then, hold the spray paint can upright 8-12” from the surface of your item and apply it in a steady, back-and forth motion, slightly overlapping each stroke. Keep the spray paint can the same distance from the surface and in motion while in use.

Apply two or more light coats a few minutes apart for best results. The paint will be dry to touch in 30 minutes, to handle in 1 hour, and fully dry in 24 hours. Recoat within 1 hour or after 48 hours.
